Lunchtime Fiber Open Studios
Lunchtime Fiber Open Studios is a free, hybrid event held every Tuesday and Thursday: Meet us in person at the SEFAA Center from 10 am to 2 pm or join us virtually via Zoom from 10 am to noon. Whether you prefer to gather in person or online, these sessions are the perfect opportunity to focus on your projects, share ideas, troubleshoot challenges, and enjoy making with like-minded friends. Come and go as your schedule allows—drop in anytime and stay as long as you’d like! We look forward to seeing you for some fun, creativity, and camaraderie. Don’t miss it!
Stitching Time
If you hand stitch, this fun, free, virtual gathering is for you. Share your work(s) in progress, seek and share creative and technical advice, and enjoy time with others who share your stitch passion. Sign up to receive the Zoom link and then grab your beverage of choice on the first Wednesday of each month. Once the clock strikes 7 pm, the cross stitching, embroidery, Sashiko, wool embellishment, needlepoint, and … will begin!
Book Club
Our free, virtual book club meets at 7 pm on the third Tuesday of every month and is open to everyone. Each month, we explore fiber-focused books that span a diverse range of topics - textile techniques, textile history, and textile-related fiction. Please join us to c onnect with fellow fiber enthusiasts and enjoy lively discussions centered around the fascinating world of textiles.
Program Meetings
SEFAA Program Meetings are generally the first weekend of the month. The content varies from fiber-focused speakers to exhibition openings and special events. Always free for individual SEFAA members, there is occasionally a small fee for non-members to attend.
